Unfinished Tales: The duet between Nii-Tete Yartey and Maria Påhls had premiere in Moskosel Creative Lab this tuesday the 28th and a second performance in Medborgarhuset in Arvidsjaur on

wednesday 29th with a listening, concentrated and collaborating audience in ages between 10-92 on place. The voices of youth were heard, their dance films were seen and emotions shared into an experience in the early summer heat north of Sweden. With sensations of the nordic collonialism history and it's present effects made questions grow. And thoughts to reflect about afterwards by oneself and between each other.

The experience ended with Maria calling to Nii-Tete live from stage to bring the sensation of his presence into the room where he unfortunately couldnt be physically on place by still waiting for his visa application to be accepted.

Living in a world where possibilities and rights to move, through drawn borders, are not same depending on where youre born and what passport one have in hand.

The creation between Nii-Tete and Maria will continue this Saturday physically on same place for the first time. For next performance together on stage in Ghana this coming wednesday to be experienced together with new audience on place in Dodowa!

Pictures are taken of the premiere performance in Moskosel by Linda Remahl who helped Maria with all practicalities and logistics on place.

Thank you Moskosel - Thank you Arvidsjaur!
