Alexandra is a composer, performer and musician.
She is the artistic director and founder of KRUMBUKTER, the ensemble Krumbuktus and KlubKrumbukt.
Hallén has studied Master Composition and Creative Practice at Hochschule der Künste Bern with Simon Steen Andersen, Stefan Prins, Gilbert Nouno and Teresa Carrasco. She has an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma from The National Danish Academy of Music, a Master of Performance from The Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen and has further studies at The Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and Örebro Academy of Music.
Alexandra Hallén was awarded The Danish Composer Society’s Music Prize 2019.
